I can't stop thinking about my post from yesterday regarding the nearly two minute long video posted on official White House social media of President Trump reading a poem about a snake while video of arrested migrants plays. I know that there is a long history of using animal language to dehumanize people. The extent of the use of such imagery today--from official White House channels--still manages to shock. At least me.
