Call for Submission - USF Law Review Forum
Dear Friends
Please consider this opportunity for shorter pieces:
The University of San Francisco Law Review Forum is the online companion to our print journal and a space for emerging ideas, timely commentary, and engagement with ongoing legal debates.
We publish shorter, more accessible pieces than those published in the traditional Law Review.
What We Publish:
We accept three types of submissions:
1. Short-Form Articles: Traditional law review-style scholarship in condensed form, commenting on a legal issue or development
2. Responses: Reactions to or extensions of works published in the print USF Law Review
3. Teaching Points: Notes on a new or emerging area of law suitable for classroom or practitioner use
Submission Guidelines:
- Length: Roughly 1,000–3,000 words (approximately 3–12 pages)
- Footnotes: Typically 40–80, depending on complexity of the piece
- Style: Clear, well-organized, and engaging, with proper Bluebook citations
- Format: MS Word or comparable word-processing software
How to Submit:
If you have a work in progress or an idea that is still taking shape, we encourage you to share it with us. We are happy to answer any questions at [email protected].
Please send submissions to [email protected].
