CNN Went to Immigration Court for Kids' Hearings

CNN visited an immigration court in Texas to witness removal proceedings involving children. This is a 3 minute and 30 second report that would be really powerful to share in the classroom.

CNN does not have video from their visit, but they have images created by a courtroom artist. The reporter talks about young children who appeared unrepresented. She talks about one 13-year-old who "burst into tears" when ordered removed, saying "I have no one. I have nothing." She does a great job of clarifying that the adults depicted near the children are not their attorneys but rather caseworkers there to supervise the children.
