Look, I haven't checked these numbers. I have no idea if they are even true. But, assuming they are, clearly we're running into the age-old discussion of correlation not equalling causation. And that takes me to one of my all-time favorite places on the internet: spurious correlations. Here's just one to whet your appetite:
