DHS Search Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's D.C. Home

Newsweek and many other news outlets are reporting on a U.S. government's search of the D.C. home of Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, a vocal critic of the Trump administration. She "has repeatedly downplayed the prospect of being the subject of a federal probe ahead of [today's] raid at her home as part of an ongoing criminal investigation." "Vice President JD Vance has previously accused the Minnesota Democrat of immigration fraud, an accusation she has repeatedly denied."

ICE's Homeland Security Investigations officers reportedly conducted the search at Omar’s home. The Department of Homeland Security "said HSI agents executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the agency in Washington, but did not provide additional details."

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin previously "said authorities were examining an accusation [thar Congresswoman Omar] married her brother to help him enter the United States. Omar has repeatedly denied the unsubstantiated allegation."
