DHS Secretary "Completely Made Up" Story About ICE Deporting a Cannibal
Is it news when it is revealed that Trump administration officials are stretching the truth? Here is the latest. Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem completely made up a wild story about deporting a cannibal, as first reported in The Intercept.
Speaking to Fox News’s Jesse Watters in June, Noem recounted a disgusting about a cannibal who tried to “eat his own arms.” Noem later repeated the story as she and Donald Trump toured “Alligator Alcatraz,” the immigrant detention center in the Florida Everglades.
As reported by The Intercept, Noem told the "preposterous story demonizing immigrants in high-profile public remarks alongside President Donald Trump and on Fox News last summer, about a cannibal who ate other people and then, on his Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation flight, began to eat himself."
"Now, three officials from federal law enforcement agencies — including Noem’s own Department of Homeland Security — with knowledge of the allegations say the entire story was fabricated." “It is completely false,” said one senior law enforcement official.
