Immigrant of the Day: Steve Hilton, Republican Candidate for Governor of California

Immigrant of the Day, Steve Hilton, a conservative political strategist and former Fox News host, is making it a race for Governor of California. Polling well, he is seeking to make it in the top two in today's election and proceed to the November election. The current leader in the polls is Xavier Becerra, the son of Mexican immigrants.

According to NBC News Los Angeles, "Hilton, born to Hungarian refugees to the U.K. and an immigrant to the U.S. himself, told NBC Los Angeles' Political Reporter Conan Nolan that he is `100% in favor of legal immigration.' But he makes an argument made by other conservative voices: cheap foreign workers are taking jobs away from Californians."

President Trump has endorsed Holton, who appears to share the administration's views on immigration enforcement.
