International Migration to UK Lowest in Years

New data from the UK Office for National Statistics and the UK Home Office shows that international migration to the UK has dropped significantly. The BBC summarizes the data, which boils down to 171,000 admissions in 2025, down nearly half from 331,000 in 2024. It's the lowest figure for the nation since 2012 (barring Covid). Non-EU workers alone experienced a drop of 47%.

The Office for National Statistics, as its name suggests, has actual statistics & data for those empirical wonks out there.
