New Deportation Data Project Release

New Deportation Data Project Release

The Deportation Data Project (and here) today released ICE data updated through October 15, 2025.  The data update includes every ICE arrest, detainer request, and book-in to detention between September 1, 2023 and October 15, 2025. This adds about two and a half months of data to the previous release, which ran through July 28, 2025.

This release does not include a table tracking removals or encounters because of potential data errors in those tables. The previous removals and encounters files remain available. The project is seeking more information and corrected versions.

In addition to the original datasets, the project has now added processed versions to the website, along with tools that allow users to filter the data and download subsets.

The Deportation Data Project is hosting a data webinar on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 10am PT / 1pm ET. The webinar will include information about the datasets, a tour of resources on our website, and ways in which you can use the data. Registration for the webinar can be done at this link.
