Despite rising levels of migration restriction worldwide, a new poll finds that people worldwide have high levels of support for refugee protection.

The poll surveyed over 20,000 adults in 29 countries and found that two-thirds of those who participated in the poll "agreed that people in danger should have the option to seek refuge in another country."

The poll also found that younger people were more likely to believe that refugees will successfully integrate into the countries where they seek refugee.

More information on the poll, conducted in partnership with UNHCR, is available here.
