Sen. Amy Klobuchar questioned Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in an oversight hearing by the Senate Judiciary Committee

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) questioned Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in an oversight hearing by the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday. The video above is tough to watch.

USA Today reported that "Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was grilled at a Senate hearing about surges in immigration enforcement, including the fatal shootings of two U.S. citizens in Minnesota and the purchase of a `luxury plane' for deportations."

Noem defended her leadership of DHS in her first Congressional appearance since federal officers killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. See CBS News, POLITICO,  C-SPAN.
