Trump says DHS won't respond to protests in Democratic-led cities until they 'ask for help'

I am not sure that state and local governments to this latest Trump administration edict. News agencies are reporting that President Donald Trump has declared that federal law enforcement will not respond to protests or riots in “poorly run" Democratic-led cities until support is requested, but will still protect federal property.

President Trump also defended embattled Secretary of teh Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and said she was unfairly being attacked because she is a woman.
